Jazz Fest

I participated in an intensive five-day program centered around reimagining the annual Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival in Rochester, New York. Participants engaged in personalized sessions with Massimo Vignelli and the design faculty at Rochester Institute of Technology. Each individual developed their own design system and presented it to the group on the final day of the workshop.

The chosen logo solution emphasized the event's commonly used name, Jazz Fest, while incorporating musical elements such as the treble, mid-tone, and bass notes of jazz music. Additionally, the logo incorporated a space within the main letters to showcase portraits of the different artists who perform each year.
